VSS is offering experience, strength, and hope to alcoholics within this 12 hour long Akron, OH group initiative.
Step 1 is the topic. “We admit that we were powerless over alcohol-that our lives had become unmanageable.”
Akron host will introduce the group and do the preamble.
We will start with a moment of silence then the "I" version of Serenity Prayer.
A modified version of the script for the VSS Monday step meeting will be used.
Opening share for about 10 minutes by guest speaker.
6 additional VSS members that will have up to 5 minutes for their share.
Any remaining time will be a show of hands for 1 minute shares.
We will conclude with the "We" version of the Serenity Prayer.
